Function&Application:

1. Allantoin can promote regeneration of skin cells and rapid healing of wounds. Therefore, it's used to treat skin ulcers, wounds, scalds, burns, and acne, etc.

2. Allantoin can also keep the moisture of skin, make rough and cracked skin becoming smooth and supple. Otherwise, it has the following function: killing bacteria, avoiding ultraviolet-ray, eliminating odor, thus, it is widely used in cosmetics industry as additive.

3. It is widely used as an additive in freckle cream, acne lotion, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, shaving lotion, hair conditioner, astringent, antiperspirant and deodorant, etc.

Solubility:  soluble in hot water, hot ethanol, dilute sodium hydroxide solution, insoluble in diethyl ether, chloroform, grease

Storage: Store sealed away from light, keep cool, dry and ventilated
